Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as related and applicable to assigned area(s).
• Minimum of eighteen (18) years of age required.
• Demonstrated experience overseeing safety of others preferred.
• Current BLS certification as applicable to assigned area(s).
• Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, self-starter with critical thinking and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Commitment to confidentiality and effective communication with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the assigned area(s) and enforces rules per policies.
• Maintains safety for all participants per department protocol.
• Offers technique advice and demonstrates proper use of equipment as applicable.
• Performs participant tests according to program guidelines.
• Spends time teaching and observing to ensure participant proficiency.
• Maintains orderly and clean environment and properly organized equipment.
• Handles paperwork and waivers with organization and accuracy.
• Maintains regular attendance as scheduled or shifted by department leadership.
