Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a PRN Nurse for the Facility Based Crisis Center in Jacksonville, NC to provide compassionate, high‑quality care around the clock. You will assess, monitor, and stabilize patients in behavioral health crises, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes crisis response, documentation, training, and adherence to safety protocols.

Formación

• Active North Carolina RN or LPN license (or compact).
• One year of behavioral health or substance use treatment preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication and clinical judgment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Perform nursing screenings, monitor vitals, and assess withdrawal risk.
• Administer medications, monitor effects, and document accurately.
• Lead de-escalation and support the shift team as clinical liaison.
• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in audits and quality activities.
• Assist with training non-licensed staff and ensure safety protocols.
