Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a PRN Nurse for the Facility Based Crisis Center in Jacksonville, NC. You will provide direct nursing care, medication administration, and health monitoring for adults in crisis, working under the FBC Supervisor and NC Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

• Active NC RN or LPN license required.
• One year of behavioral health or substance use treatment experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work in a fast-paced crisis setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing screenings and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications, including PRN and emergency meds; document accurately.
• Lead crisis stabilization efforts and support staff in trauma-informed care.
• Maintain compliant documentation, audits, and safety protocols.
• Provide training support to non-licensed personnel; assist with program goals.
