Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Active RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure and must meet state requirements.
• Experience: 1 year ER experience required for PRN.
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TTNCC/PHN etc may be required depending on unit.
• Other certifications may be required as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide experienced ER nursing care as PRN.
• Adhere to staffing ratios and transfer guidelines.
• Maintain licensure and certifications as required for the unit.
