Job summary

Nutex Health seeks an energetic Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department in Fort Smith, Arkansas. You will coordinate and deliver patient care across all ages in a fast-paced ER to meet policies, procedures, and professional nursing standards.

Requirements include 2 years ER experience, accredited nursing degree, active state license, and CPR/BLS with ACLS/PALS/ENPC/TNCC preferred. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• 2 years of ER experience.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Licensure with the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
• BCLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for all ages in a safe, cost-effective manner.
• Perform head-to-toe and psychosocial assessments and prioritize needs.
• Accurately assign triage categories to ensure timely care.
• Supervise ER Techs and support staff in the ED.
• Remain current on medications and administer them using five rights.
• Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and staff professionally.
