Baylor Scott & White Endoscopy Center at Sherman is seeking a PRN Endoscopy Technician to support endoscopic procedures in a surgical center setting. This role operates under the direct supervision of a surgeon and a GI team to run equipment and ensure smooth patient flow.

The position requires a high school diploma, at least 1 year in a GI lab, and BLS certification (ACLS preferred); ambulatory center experience is a plus. This on-site role emphasizes reliability on weekdays only.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a GI Lab.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center or surgical hospital preferred.
• Current BLS required, ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Endoscopy Technician operates under the direct supervision of a surgeon to assist with the operation of technical equipment used during endoscopic procedures.
• The GI technician is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining endoscopes and other instruments.
• Additional duties include managing patient flow, preparing the room for procedures, stocking supplies, ordering materials, and handling various clerical tasks.
