Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking a PRN Endoscopy RN to support GI procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. The RN will conduct pre-procedure assessments, start IVs, administer and monitor moderate sedation, and provide intra-procedure monitoring of vital signs, airway status, and patient response.

After procedures, the RN will manage post-procedure recovery, deliver discharge teaching, and document care in the EMR, ensuring patient safety and smooth throughput.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the relevant state.
• Proficient in administering and monitoring moderate sedation.
• Capable of pre-procedure assessments and post-recovery oversight.
• Strong infection control and patient safety knowledge.
• Collaborates with physicians, anesthesia, and endoscopy staff.
• Clear and timely EMR documentation and patient education.
