Qualifications

• Ability to collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and techs.

Support GI procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting by providing expert endoscopy nursing care before, during, and after procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre-procedure assessments and prepare patients for endoscopy
• Start IVs and administer medications as ordered
• Provide and monitor moderate sedation, including continuous tracking of vitals, airway status, and patient response
• Perform vigilant intra-procedure monitoring and ensure patient safety
• Oversee post-procedure recovery and evaluate readiness for discharge
• Manage discharge teaching and instructions for patients
• Document all care accurately in the EMR

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills
• Knowledge of infection control and safety standards
• Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, anesthesia, and endoscopy techs
• Proficiency in sedation monitoring and airway/vital sign vigilance
