Job summary

HiredFirst in Rochester, NY is seeking an experienced RN for Endo/GI procedures. This in-office role supports doctors during endoscopy and GI procedures, administers meds, monitors patients, and prepares instruments and supplies.

The ideal candidate holds an NY RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications, plus 2 years of endoscopy experience, telemetry monitoring with rhythm identification, conscious sedation, IV insertion, and post-anesthesia recovery.

Job Duties

• Answering patient questions and addressing their concerns.
• Observing patient vital signs.
• Sedating patients before procedures.
• Recovering patients after procedures.
• Administering the necessary medication to patients.
• Completing all necessary documentation including patient notes and discharge documents.
• Preparing the instruments, equipment, and supplies for the procedure.
• Cleaning and sterilizing equipment before use.
• Providing assistance to Doctors throughout the procedure.
• Administering IV drips.

Requirements

• NY license ONLY
