McKay-Dee Endoscopy Center is seeking an Endoscopy Assistant to prepare procedure rooms, assemble equipment, and assist physicians during Endoscopy procedures. You will handle biopsies with the care of the RN or MD, stock supplies, and coordinate routine equipment maintenance.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED and BLS certification. Candidates should be able to communicate clearly, work with a health care team, and manage time in a busy clinical setting.

INTERRELATIONSHIPS:
Works effectively with members of the health care team, administrative personnel, and maintains a cooperative working relationship intra-departmentally and inter-departmentally.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment. On feet most of the day. Frequent lifting, stretching and other physical exertion during positioning of patients and moving equipment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS: Exposed to patients' conditions and some unpleasant sights, smells and contagious diseases. Normal busy office environment with much telephone work. Occasional evening or weekend work.
