Job summary

Aspen Valley Health is seeking a PRN EMT for the Aspen Ambulance department. The role covers pre-hospital and interfacility care with rotating shifts and on-call coverage, aligned with paramedics and local protocols.

The position offers opportunities to participate in AVH programs and access discounted transit options. Qualifications include Colorado EMT license (or the ability to obtain), CDPHE IV Approval, BLS, and a valid driver license with 3+ years driving and clean MVR.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted EMT license in Colorado or ability to obtain before start date.
• CDPHE-recognized IV Approval course.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required or may be obtained on hire.
• Current driver license with minimum 3 years driving experience and acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Administers care to sick and injured persons in pre-hospital and interfacility settings as directed by paramedics, protocols, and physician orders.
• Responds to emergency calls, gathers patient history, performs basic exam, and provides on-scene and transit care to hospital.
