Job summary

Ohio Living's Breckenridge Village is seeking an EMT-PRN to provide short-term medical coverage for adults with IDD on the campus. The role requires EMT Basic certification, a valid Texas driver's license, and the ability to respond to medical needs with calm professionalism.

The position supports on-campus medical supervision, participates in incident management, and works with a multidisciplinary team to ensure resident health and safety. PRN hours vary with coverage needs and events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current EMT Basic certification or license in state of residence.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with IDD Adults; Care Provider experience preferred.
• Must pass drug screening/background check.
• Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to medical needs and provide first aid within EMT scope.
• Provide medical support and transportation for residents as needed.
• Maintain documentation and follow Breckenridge Village policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with staff and leadership in emergency response.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed by medical coverage.
