Job summary

Medical City Las Colinas is seeking an Echo Tech PRN to perform echocardiogram procedures, including infant and pediatric studies when needed. You will work closely with cardiologists, maintain records, and ensure patient comfort.

The role emphasizes accurate studies, timely reports, and adherence to department policies. You will prepare equipment and room, position patients, and communicate critical findings to physicians.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• High School Graduate or GED required.
• RDCS/ARDMS/CCI certification through ARDMS/CCI or eligibility required.
• Minimum 1 year of echo ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine echocardiogram procedures per ICAEL standards.
• Prepare equipment and scanning area; assist in patient positioning.
• Escort patients and notify physicians of critical findings.
• Assist scheduler to schedule patients and perform related duties.
• Maintain stock, clean rooms and equipment after use.

Education

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

High School Graduate / GED

RDCS/ARDMS/CCI certification eligibility or certification through ARDMS/CCI

1 year experience required
