Qualifications

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Eligible to sit for registry at hire and must pass within one year with ARDMS: RDCS or CCI: RCS/ACS/RCCS.
May require Indiana ISDH license, if applicable.
Must pass Basic EKG interpretation written exam with score >85% and renew yearly.
Ability to maneuver echocardiography equipment and position patients as needed.
Minimum one year of Echocardiography experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

Performs, administers and monitors Cardio-Diagnostic tests with emphasis on cardiac sonography and Doppler studies.
Provides physician with preliminary findings of recorded data and calculations in a timely manner.
Operates equipment and positions patients to record requested diagnostic images for pediatric through geriatric patients.
Demonstrates compassionate patient care and respect throughout procedures.
