Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a PRN Echocardiography Technologist for night shifts, including Fridays 6:00pm-6:00am and other PTO/call-ins. You will perform cardiac ultrasound and Doppler studies, monitor tests, and provide preliminary findings to physicians while ensuring patient comfort across all ages.

The role requires BLS, registry eligibility within a year, and familiarity with cardiology imaging procedures. Onsite position with commitment to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Eligible to sit for registry within 1 year and pass yearly.
• May require ISDH license depending on modality.
• Pass Basic EKG interpretation with score >85% initially and yearly.

Responsibilities

• Performs, administers & monitors Cardio-Diagnostic tests with emphasis on cardiac sonography and Doppler studies.
• Provides physician with preliminary findings of recorded data and calculations.
• Positions patients and operates equipment to record diagnostic images; treats patients with care and respect.

Education

Basic Life Support certification

ARDMS/RDCS or CCI registry eligibility

ISDH license (possible)

Basic EKG interpretation test ( >85%)
