Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a part-time Server for PRN shifts in our dining areas. You will take orders, serve meals, assist with menu choices, and maintain a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

Responsibilities include ensuring dietary needs, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting community marketing efforts. High-quality service and positive interactions are essential.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills including the ability to speak, write, understand, and read English.
• Must be over 18 years old or have proper work permit and authorization documentation.
• Background clearances as required by government regulations.

Responsibilities

• Takes written food orders and serves meals to residents, family members and visitors in a professional, efficient and courteous manner.
• Assist residents with meal/menu selections as necessary or requested.
• Serve and clear tables, including serving from the left and clearing between courses.
• Review residents' dietary needs as outlined by Supervisor.
• Track resident attendance at meals and report to the appropriate person.
• Greet and seat residents, making them feel welcome and comfortable.
• Maintain a clean sanitary dining area and comply with all policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate tact and friendliness when dealing with residents, team members, and guests.
