Job summary

Wellstone Regional Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana is seeking a dynamic PRN Food Service Worker to join the Dietary department. The role involves assisting with salad bar prep, maintaining beverage supplies, and keeping the cafeteria clean.

You will help with patient meals, room supplies, and dish machine operation, with weekend 12-hour shifts possible. Education: HS/GED required; prior food service experience in healthcare preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of food service sanitation.
• Prior experience in food service required, preferably healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the salad bar when needed.
• Maintain beverage supplies and keep cafeteria/dining areas clean.
• Assist in preparation and delivery of patient meals and room supplies.
• Operate the dish machine and stock kitchen on each floor as required.
• Occasionally assist the cook and adapt schedules to 12-hour weekend shifts.
