Guttenberg Care Center in Guttenberg, IA is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to assist residents with meals and ensure items meet dietary needs. You will help with meal services, keep kitchen areas clean, and support a safe dining atmosphere.

The role offers opportunities to grow within a caring team, with emphasis on accuracy, sanitation, and good communication with residents and staff. High school level education is accepted, and prior SNF foodservice experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10th grade education.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience preferable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meals according to dietary needs.
• Record temperatures and ensure food safety and sanitation.
• Keep kitchen and dietary equipment clean and sanitized.

As a Dietary Aide you will assist residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Guttenberg Care Center by ensuring residents receive the appropriate items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and ensuring the kitchen and dietary equipment is clean and sanitized. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education. Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
