Job summary

Valley Vue Care Center is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join our skilled nursing team in Iowa. You will assist residents with meals, ensure dietary needs are met, and help maintain safe food handling practices.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meals according to their dietary needs.
• Record temperatures to ensure food safety.
• Keep kitchen and dietary equipment clean and sanitized.

As a Dietary Aide you will assist residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Valley Vue Care Center by ensuring residents receive the appropriate items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and ensuring the kitchen and dietary equipment is clean and sanitized. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education. Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
