Guttenberg Care Center is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our on-call team. You will administer prescribed medications and assist with daily living activities to ensure residents receive high-quality care.

Minimum Iowa CNA certificate, Medication Aide training, and CPR certification are required; 1 year of CN A/Medication Aide experience is preferred. We offer competitive wages and a supportive work environment.

Responsabilidades

• Administer medications to residents as prescribed.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living and daily care.
• Monitor changes in residents' condition and report to nursing staff.
• Maintain a safe environment and document care.
• Provide education to residents and families as needed.

As a Medication Aide you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Guttenberg Care Center by providing our residents with the medications they need, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of Iowa C.N.A. certificate, successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training and C.P.R. certification. One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.
