Job summary

Bloomfield Care Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our friendly team. You will help residents with meals, ensuring items meet dietary needs and that temperatures are recorded for safety. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment, contributing to a safe and comfortable dining environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10th grade education.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meals and ensure they receive the correct items according to dietary needs.
• Record temperatures and ensure food safety compliance.
• Keep kitchen and dietary equipment clean and sanitized.
• Help residents feel comfortable and safe during meals.

As a Dietary Aide you will assist residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Bloomfield Care Center by ensuring residents receive the appropriate items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and ensuring the kitchen and dietary equipment is clean and sanitized. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education. Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
