Guttenberg Care Center is seeking a staff nurse to join our friendly, caring team in Guttenberg, IA. You will help manage operations on your assigned unit and supervise clinical staff to uphold our high standard of resident care.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN license in Iowa or a compact state.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of all clinical staff on the assigned unit.
• Provide guidance and education to clinical staff on care practices.
• Support infection prevention practices and maintain high standards of resident care.
• Ensure adequate staffing to meet residents’ needs and deliver exceptional care.

As a staff nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Guttenberg Care Center by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
