Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta seeks aLicensed Dentist to oversee assessment and management of dental problems for the IDP patient population within the Grady Health System. You will lead dental hygienists and residents, coordinate referrals to specialists, and participate in HIV-related dental research and grant activities as assigned by the Director of Oral Health Services.

Requirements include GA licensure, DEA registration, and at least two years of clinical experience in the specialty.

Qualifications

GA Licensed Dentist with license to practice in Georgia.
Must have DEA registration number.
Dental Association Clinical experience with at least two years in the assigned specialty.

Responsibilities

Maintains credentials for dispensing medications for treatment, prophylaxis, and analgesia (validated on GradyNow).
Educates patients, staff, and students (validated by observation and feedback).
Completes documentation by end of business day and submits reports timely (documentation audit).
Demonstrates competency in diagnosis and treatment (annual competency validation).
Gathers data per research protocols (annual competency validated by supervising dentist).
