Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging with emphasis on patient comfort and diagnostic quality. The role requires ARRT certification in Radiography and CT, BLS, and at least 1 year in Radiology. The ideal candidate will contribute to patient safety, accurate documentation, and efficient exam

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA standards.
• Prepare and disinfect rooms and equipment; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, screen for contraindications, verify orders and patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure comfort and safety.
• Document studies accurately and finalize in RIS/PACS; assist with workflow and team coordination.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies; restock and maintain equipment.
