Job summary

OU Health is seeking an Adult CT Technologist for PRN shifts to perform CT examinations following established protocols with clinical judgment. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT certification, and BLS, and will work independently in routine and emergent settings while maintaining patient safety and image quality.

PRN roles require a minimum of 2 shifts per month, and the successful applicant will join a collaborative radiology team dedicated to high-quality

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited imaging, radiology or nuclear medicine program per ARRT or military equivalent.
• At least 1 year of CT experience.
• BLS (AHA) and ARRT(RT)(CT) certification on hire.
• Solid knowledge of CT imaging principles and anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of CT examinations with appropriate protocol adaptation.
• Prepare patients, review history, and correlate with physician orders.
• Safely administer contrast per protocol and monitor patient response.
• Recognize imaging artifacts and apply corrective measures.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team.
• Transfer images to EMR/PACS and complete documentation.
• Conduct basic quality control, equipment cleaning, and maintenance as required.
• Maintain accurate records and support ongoing education.
