Job summary

Wellstar in Georgia seeks an experienced radiology technologist to perform CT imaging with a focus on patient safety and comfort. You will position patients, operate CT equipment, ensure image quality, and follow strict protocols to support diagnostic accuracy.

Must have accredited Radiologic Technology education, ARRT CT certification, and strong communication. This PRN/varied-shift role offers benefits and opportunities for career progression within Wellstar Health System.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARRT-R Radiography and ARR-CT certification required.
• BLS certification or higher current certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience; CT experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures following department protocols.
• Verify patient identity, prep and position for exams, ensure safety.
• Monitor patient during procedures and manage contrast administration.
• Review images for technical quality and assist radiologists as needed.
• Maintain equipment and follow infection-control and safety standards.
• Document procedures accurately and communicate with team.
