Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a CT Technologist I to operate CT scanners, prepare patients, administer IV contrast, and ensure high-quality imaging per department protocols. This PRN, part-time role requires ARRT Radiology or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine with CT registry within one year, BLS, and a commitment to radiation safety and patient care.

You will work with radiology staff across shifts in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT radiology or NMTCB nuclear medicine required, CT registry within one year of hire.
• Graduate of ARRT-recognized radiologic or nuclear medicine program.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests and verify orders, refer discrepancies to Radiologist.
• Identify patients and prepare for CT procedures with explanations.
• Administer IV contrast per protocol and record details.
• Operate CT scanners and post-processing equipment; evaluate image quality.
• Maintain radiation safety for staff and patients; rotate shifts including on-call.
• Assist in invasive procedures and coordinate with Radiology team.

Education

ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire
