Job summary

Lifepoint Health, Southern TN Regional Health System - Pulaski, is seeking a Cat Scan Technician on a PRN basis. The role involves preparing patients, administering contrast, operating CT imaging equipment, and ensuring quality control across procedures.

The successful candidate will have ARRT/JRCERT/ARMRIT/NMTCB-accredited training in radiologic technologies, data entry of scan results, and the ability to maintain image quality while protecting patient safety.

Qualifications

• 1 year in Radiologic technology, Radiation Therapy, MR, Nuclear Medicine, or CT procedures preferred.
• ARRT/JRCERT/ARMRIT/NMTCB registry in Radiology or CT is expected (CT registry required within 1 year)
• Associate's degree preferred (RAD/Medical Imaging)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes as appropriate.
• Prepare equipment and imaging parameters; ensure safety standards and QC on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions.
• Position patient and perform imaging procedures; analyze image quality and take corrective actions.
• Enter and transmit scan results.
