Job summary

Central Carolina Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Cat Scan Technician to join our Multimodality Imaging team. The role focuses on high-quality CT and radiology imaging, patient comfort, and safety in a fast-paced setting.

You will operate imaging equipment, document procedures in the EMR, and collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to ensure accurate diagnoses. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a busy hospital

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) credentials required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• X-ray and CT experience required.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain high standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality diagnostic X-ray and CT examinations following physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment and document procedures and patient information in the EMR.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses and health-care team to achieve optimal diagnostic outcomes.
• Maintain infection prevention and patient safety throughout imaging procedures.
