Job summary

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery is seeking PRN Crisis Triage Specialists to join our 24/7 Walk-In Crisis Clinic team in Aurora, CO. The role involves brief assessments, client placement support, and referrals, with a focus on crisis response and compassionate care.

This is a PRN, on-site position with flexible shifts and comprehensive patient support. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field, BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days), and experience serving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health, human services, social work, or related field.
• Prior experience with community-based services and supports.
• Experience working with diverse populations and cultures.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first clinical contact for walk-in clients and assist with intake.
• Assess clients using CSSRS and Safe-T criteria and coordinate with Crisis Therapists.
• Refer or connect clients to CSU or higher levels of care when needed.
• Maintain calm, safe environment and support team members in the WIC.
• Complete documentation timely to ensure accurate clinical records.
