Job summary

Stern Therapy Consultants in Cherry Hill, NJ, is hiring a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for Autumn Lake at Cherry Hill. You will provide treatment under an OT's direction in a skilled nursing rehab setting to help residents regain daily living skills.

You will follow the OT plan, assist with dressing and personal care, use therapeutic activities to improve function, and document progress for the care team. New grads welcome, strong communication required.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey OT license and COTA certification are required.
• Clear communication, teamwork, and documentation skills are essential.
• Ability to provide attentive care within an established treatment plan.

Responsibilities

• Follow the OT's plan of care to deliver treatment for residents' daily living goals.
• Assist with dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting with appropriate cueing.
• Use prescribed activities to improve coordination, upper-extremity function, and activity tolerance.
• Reinforce adaptive equipment techniques for safe task completion.
• Keep OT informed of progress and changing needs.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and share recommendations with care teams.
