Job summary

Seven Oaks Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Columbia, SC is seeking a compassionate COTA to support residents under an OT's supervision. This PRN position offers a flexible schedule within a long-term care setting.

You will assist in treating patients, document progress, ensure MD orders, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. A BA/Associates in OT and an active OT license are required, with SNF experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited university with a BA or Associates degree in Occupational Therapy recognized by the AOTA.
• Holds current OT license/registration in the state.
• SNF experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OT treatment under supervision of an OTR per state guidelines.
• Identify suitable patients and refer to rehab services.
• Document daily participation and progress with co-signature by OTR.
• Ensure MD orders for treatments, re-certifications and discharges.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings with the supervisor.
• Supervise junior COTA staff or students as needed.
