Job summary

Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide rehabilitative services under the supervision of an OT. The role supports inpatient and outpatient care, including swing bed and long-term care settings, with duties ranging from administering treatments to documenting progress in the EMR.

Ideal candidates have an OTA degree, NBCOT certification, and an active Arkansas license, plus BLS.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program required.
• Current NBCOT certification.
• Active Arkansas COTA license (or ability to obtain).
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer OT treatments per supervising OT's plan of care.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises to improve strength, coordination, and independence.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safety and carryover of therapy at home.
