Job summary

Seven Oaks Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Columbia, SC is seeking a COTA Occupational Therapist Assistant PRN to join our long-term care team. The role provides comprehensive OT services under supervision and supports residents in daily activities.

Active OT assistant licensure and SNF experience are preferred qualifications for applicants.

Qualifications

• BA or AS in Occupational Therapy recognized by AOTA.
• Active state OT assistant license/registration.
• SNF experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services under supervision of an OTR per state guidelines.
• Identify suitable patients and refer them to rehab.
• Document daily participation and progress with co-signature.
• Ensure orders, re-certifications, and discharges are obtained.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional relations.
• Attend rehab and facility meetings as needed.
• Supervise junior staff or students when required.
• Complete billing logs and bill ethically.
