Job summary

The Phoenix Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a PRN COTA to join our rehabilitation team in Phoenixville, PA. You will provide compassionate occupational therapy assistance under the supervision of an OTR and collaborate with the care team.

Requirements include a current COTA license and at least one year of experience. This PRN role involves documenting progress, ensuring MD orders, and contributing to patient discharge planning and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Must hold current COTA license
• At least 1 year of related experience

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of an OTR and according to state guidelines
• Assist OT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note with the OTR co-signature
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertification, and discharges
• Assist with other documentation requirements as indicated and state guidelines
• Attend facility and rehab meetings when indicated by the supervisor
• Perform all other duties assigned by the department supervisor, lead therapist, or regional manager
