The Phoenix Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a PRN COTA to join our rehabilitation team in Phoenixville, PA. You will provide compassionate occupational therapy assistance under the supervision of an OTR and collaborate with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of an OTR and according to state guidelines
• Assist OT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note with the OTR co-signature
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertification, and discharges
• Assist with other documentation requirements as indicated and state guidelines
• Attend facility and rehab meetings when indicated by the supervisor
• Perform all other duties assigned by the department supervisor, lead therapist, or regional manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of an OTR and according to state guidelines.
• Assist OT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in an accurate and timely fashion, and obtain the co-signature of the OTR.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertification, and discharges.
• Assist with other documentation requirements as indicated and according to state guidelines.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings when indicated by the supervisor.
• Perform all other duties assigned by the department supervisor, lead therapist, or regional manager
