Job summary

Select Medical's Select Specialty Hospital in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide patient-centered care on a PRN basis. You will work under an OT, performing therapy, monitoring progress, and documenting care while participating in ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• BLS certification required or to be completed within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients with complex needs under supervision of an OT.
• Conduct individual therapy sessions as directed by an OT.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed.
• Complete documentation according to department policies.
• Attend department and hospital continuing education seminars.
