Marysville Post Acute in Marysville, CA is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for PRN (as-needed) shifts. You will work under a licensed OT to provide skilled therapies, document care, and support residents in regaining independence.

This flexible PRN position offers collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and a focus on resident-centered care. Qualifications include an Associate Degree in COTA, California license, and CPR if required.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree from an accredited COTA program.
• California COTA license in good standing.
• CPR certification if required by licensure.
• Ability to meet continuing education requirements.
• Experience with electronic medical records (Net Health, PointClickCare) preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for helping residents achieve independence.

Aufgaben

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments per established care plans.
• Document treatments accurately, timely, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Help residents improve independence in activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Educate residents and families on home exercise programs, safety, and adaptive equipment.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and durable medical equipment to maximize independence.
• Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
• Communicate resident progress with therapists, nursing staff, physicians, families.
