Job summary

Powerback Rehab's Casa Real Nursing facility in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). You will implement OT programs, help patients regain independence, and deliver hands-on therapy in collaboration with the rehab team.

This role emphasizes compassionate patient care, adaptable scheduling, and the ability to work across various rehab settings. AOTA/ACOTE accredited program graduate and NBCOT certification/licensure eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well and regain function through OT programs.
• You'll implement therapy plans and deliver treatments while following recovery goals.
• You are a teammate, collaborating with the rehab team to maximize patient independence.
• You will design and adapt programs to restore and reinforce physical abilities and independence.
