Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab in Kingwood, WV, is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house therapy team at Kingwood Healthcare Center. This role supports residents by implementing treatment plans and collaborating with the Occupational Therapist to enhance quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must have COTA education from accredited two-year program.
• Hold a valid or pending State COTA license.

Responsibilities

• Helps residents improve quality of life by improving motor skills and independence through therapy.
• Implements treatment plan in coordination with Occupational Therapist and educates staff and family as needed.
• Documentation of rehab activities in the facility records under supervision of an OT.
• Opportunity to treat at multiple locations to serve diverse resident needs.
