Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Worthington Healthcare Center team in Parkersburg, WV. This full-time position places you as an in-house team member delivering direct therapy to residents under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities focus on improving residents' independence and functional skills, with collaboration across locations to support a patient-centered continuum of care.

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) education completed in an accredited program.
• Hold a valid or pending State COTA license.

Responsibilities

• Help residents improve quality of life by compensating for limitations and increasing independence.
• Implement treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising Occupational Therapist and educate staff and family as needed.
• Maintain documentation per rehab department and facility requirements under supervision.
