Job summary

Linden Place Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for flexible PRN shifts. You will work under an OT to implement treatment plans, support residents in regaining skills, and contribute to quality care in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state license/registration as a COTA.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing quality resident care.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy interventions and exercises according to individualized treatment plans.
• Assist residents with activities that promote independence and functional daily living skills.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and track resident progress.
• Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, nurses, and other members of the care team.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapeutic techniques and restorative programs.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide coverage based on facility and resident needs.
• Float to nearby facilities when needed.
