Are you a compassionate and licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) looking for flexible PRN opportunities? Linden Place Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated COTA to join our rehabilitation team and help residents improve their independence, mobility, and quality of life.
As a PRN COTA, you will work under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions and support individualized treatment plans. You’ll play an important role in helping residents regain skills, maintain independence, and achieve their therapy goals in a supportive skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment.
Provide therapy interventions and exercises according to individualized treatment plans
Assist residents with activities that promote independence and functional daily living skills
Document treatment sessions accurately and track resident progress
Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, nurses, and other members of the care team
Educate residents, families, and staff on therapeutic techniques and restorative programs
Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and quality improvement initiatives
Provide coverage based on facility and resident needs
Float to nearby facilities when needed
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Current state license/registration as a COTA
Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is a plus
Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and transfers
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
