Job summary

Linden Place Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for flexible PRN opportunities. You will work under an OT to provide therapeutic interventions and support treatment plans, helping residents regain skills and improve quality of life in a skilled nursing environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed COTA in good standing with state license/registration.
• Prior experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is a plus.
• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and transfers.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy interventions and exercises per individualized treatment plans.
• Assist residents in activities that promote independence and daily living skills.
• Document treatment sessions and track resident progress.
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, nurses, and care team members.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapeutic techniques.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and quality initiatives.
• Provide coverage based on facility and resident needs.
• Float to nearby facilities when needed.
