Twin Lakes Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a PRN role at our 137-bed skilled nursing facility. Your focus will be delivering OT services per care plans, collaborating with the rehab team, and supporting discharge planning to improve resident outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in COTA, demonstrates patience and customer service, and is able to work flexibly in a team with ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited college or university for COTA is required.
• New grads will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, developing, and delivering Occupational Therapy Services per standards.
• Provide individual therapy services according to care plans.
• Assist in resident assessments and development of therapy plans with MDS.
• Help adjust therapy plans to match resident care goals.
• Brief residents on procedures and prepare equipment.
• Coordinate therapy appointments with other departments.
• Maintain safety and care of supplies and therapy area.
