Job summary

Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support residents at Autumn Lake at Ocean View in Ocean View, NJ. In this role you will implement treatment plans and help residents gain independence with daily activities. You will collaborate with the supervising OT, document sessions and contribute to a supportive rehab team. PRN opportunities offer flexible coverage and competitive hourly pay of $35–$40.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey COTA license and certification required.
• Ability to follow individualized treatment plans with safety focus.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.
• New graduates welcome; skilled nursing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement the OT's treatment plan through resident-centered activities.
• Coach residents in self-care tasks (dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting).
• Provide exercises and activities to support upper-extremity function and coordination.
• Reinforce adaptive equipment techniques for safe routines.
• Share progress observations with the supervising OT.
• Complete session notes and collaborate with nursing and rehab staff for carryover.
