Job summary

Onyx Health Consulting in Rainbow Homes seeks a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support skilled nursing and rehabilitation services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. You will implement individualized treatment plans to promote patient therapy, rehab, and recovery in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. This role emphasizes teamwork and precise documentation for quality care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Assist in patient evaluations and assessments as needed.
• Support the development and execution of individualized treatment plans, including short-term and long-term goals.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Communicate patient progress and any concerns to the Occupational Therapist.
• Document patient treatment and progress in medical records.
