Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Pipestone, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for PRN shifts. You will provide resident-centered care under RN supervision, including daily living activities, vital signs, and basic health support.

Requirements include CNA certification, 3 months LTC experience preferred, and a minimum age of 18. Will travel within 75 miles as needed; 30 hours/month minimum with at least one weekend per month.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred or required.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with State Board required or in process of obtaining certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and mobility using proper techniques.
• Record vital signs and document resident interactions and care outcomes.
• Support meals, hydration, and nutrition; assist with dining and food prep tasks.
• Assist with housekeeping, laundry, and wellness activities as needed.
• Follow infection prevention and PPE policies and participate in safety programs.
