Job summary

Griswold Home Care is seeking compassionate PRN CNAs to work in Inverness and Dunnellon areas in Florida. Start pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour and varies with experience and case complexity.

Shifts may vary from 4 to 12 hours, with weekly pay and ongoing training available. As a caregiver, you will provide non-medical assistance, companionship, and daily living support to seniors, helping with personal care, light housekeeping, and meal preparation while ensuring safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Florida CNA license or have completed 75 hours of Home Health Aide Training from an approved program.
• Current BLS or CPR certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care and home companionship.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility).
• Help with laundry, grocery shopping and meal preparation.
• Complete shift documentation and communicate client updates to the office.
• Deliver compassionate, respectful care and maintain client dignity.

Griswold Home Care in Ocala & The Villages is calling all compassionate individuals to apply to join our amazing team as aPRN CNA!We're locally owned and operated and would love to meet you! We are looking for CNAs for work in Inverness and Dunnellon areas. Shift lengths vary based on client needs and may range from 4 to 12 hours.

Compensation: Starting at $17.00–$19.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and case complexity.

YOUR LIFE AS A CAREGIVER

This companionship and caregiving position offersflexible hours and opportunities to gain meaningful experience assisting seniors. Clients may receive as little as 4 hours of care, while others require 24-hour care.

As a Caregiver, you have the rewarding job of helping seniors live as fully and independently as possible while remaining in the places they love. You competently provide non-medical care and home companionship, helping with various responsibilities such as laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation. With the client’s dignity always at the forefront of your mind, you help them maintain proper personal hygiene. You are gentle and professional as you aid them with daily tasks such as bathing and feeding. At times, you provide companionship to clients who have dementia or cognitive impairments. Your kind and patient demeanor serves you well as you ensure they receive the highest quality of elderly care.

You carefully complete documentation for each shift, submitting timely updates. Committed to providing consistent elderly care, you communicate routinely with the office about the condition and needs of your clients. You feel good about helping seniors enjoy their golden years, and you are glad you chose a career in the caregiving industry.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Reliable Transportation to work in Inverness and Dunnellon areas.
• Current FL CNA license or proof of a minimum of 75 hours of Home Health Aide Training from anFDOEapproved school or program
• A Current Non Expired BLS or CPR Certification
• Free of communicable disease statement within 6 months
• Overview of HIV/AIDS
• Alzheimer’s and Dementia Training (2 Hours) within 7 months
• Self-Administration of Medications Training (2 Hours)
• Department of Elder Affairs Alzheimer’s One-Hour Training Video dated within 30 days
