Griswold Home Care is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide companionship and non-medical caregiving in Sumter & Clarendon County, SC. Flexible full- or part-time hours with day or night shifts, paid weekly wages, and opportunities to grow.

You’ll assist with daily tasks, light housekeeping, meals, errands, and monitor clients to keep them safe at home. A valid CNA certification, reliable transportation, and ability to pass screenings are required.

Qualifications

• Active/Valid CNA Certification.
• Reliable Transportation.
• Pass Pre-Hire Screenings.
• Authorized to work in USA.
• Driving record & proof of insurance for client errands/transport.
• HS Diploma or Equivalent; 2+ years CNA/home care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and caregiving to seniors and disabled adults.
• Assist with daily tasks: light housekeeping, meals, and errands.
• Help with non-medical tasks like feeding and bathing.
• Keep a detailed log of duties and submit accurate documentation.
• Communicate with office and provide timely client updates.

Griswold Home Care seeks capable, full OR part-time Certified Nursing Assistants / CNAs to provide companionship and perform caregiving duties in the Sumter & Clarendon County areas of SC. (Communities include but not limited to Sumter,Dalzell, Wedgefield, Pinewood and Manning.)

This CNA position earns a competitive wage up to $18/hr, depending on your level of experience and the needs level of particular clients. We also offer benefits including Paid Holidays, PTO (paid time off), overtime, weekly paydays, and opportunities for ongoing training and development.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT / CNA

As a Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA, you are proud to help seniors & disabled adults live their best lives within the places they love most. Your assistance with daily tasks allows our clients to live as independently as possible. They appreciate your positive attitude as you competently assess what needs to be done. Whether you’re performing light housekeeping duties, preparing meals, or grocery shopping, you approach each job with cheerful efficiency.

On occasion, you provide caregiving services to clients with cognitive impairments or dementia. Always patient and kind, you assist with non-medical tasks such as feeding and bathing. Your respectful approach allows clients to maintain their dignity as you help them maintain proper personal hygiene.

Attentive to detail, you keep a log of the duties you perform during your shift. You submit accurate documentation to ensure consistent elderly care. Reliable and conscientious, you check in with the office often, providing timely updates regarding the needs of your clients. At the end of each day, you feel a sense of pride knowing you make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors & disabled adults!

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; we also prefer 2+ years of CNA or home care experience but realize some newCNAs may not have that much experience yet. WORK SCHEDULE

This CNA Caregiverposition has flexible hours so may fit whether you want Full or Part-Time. Depending on the needs of our clients, there are opportunities for day or night shifts. Clients may receive as little as 2-4 hours of care, while others require 24-hour care.
